The ResViP is a product of The Meaningful Change LLC.
When you use resViP as an organizer, we collect your email, password (hashed), event details, and any rosters you upload (member names and phone numbers). When you RSVP to an event, we collect your name and, if applicable, your guests' names.
We use the data to run the service: showing organizers their guest lists, sending SMS invitations on their behalf (only when SMS is enabled and consent is recorded), and powering check-in.
resViP staff may access event data — including organizer accounts, member rosters, and guest lists — for legitimate operational reasons: customer support, abuse investigation, billing, security, and compliance with legal obligations. We do not browse organizer data casually and we do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Organizers attest that every phone number they upload has given prior express written consent to receive SMS event invitations. Each consent timestamp and version is recorded. See our SMS Consent & Messaging Policy.
Mobile information is never shared. Phone numbers and other mobile data collected by resViP are used solely to deliver event-related SMS on behalf of the organizer who uploaded them. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Message frequency: Typically 1–3 messages per event (invitation, optional reminder, and door-verification or check-in notifications as applicable). resViP does not send recurring marketing or promotional SMS.
Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages from a sender, or HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Event data persists until the organizer deletes the event or their account. You can request deletion of your account or any specific event by contacting us.
Data is stored on encrypted infrastructure. Access is gated by row-level security policies that limit each organizer to their own events.
