SMS Consent & Messaging Policy

Last updated: May 27, 2026

Program description

resViP is an event-invitation platform. When an event organizer uses resViP to manage a guest list, the organizer may send each invited member a one-time SMS invitation containing the event name and a personal link to RSVP and add guests. Members who reply to confirm attendance may receive up to one follow-up SMS reminder per event.

How consent is collected

Organizers upload their own guest list to resViP and confirm at signup that every phone number they will add has given them prior express written consent to receive SMS invitations related to the organizer's events. resViP records the date and time of that attestation on the organizer's account.

Recipients who did not consent, or who no longer wish to receive messages, can opt out at any time using the keywords below.

Message frequency

Typically 1–3 messages per event. resViP does not send recurring marketing or promotional SMS.

Privacy

Phone numbers uploaded by organizers are used solely to deliver the organizer's event invitations and are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing. Numbers are stored only as long as the associated event remains active.
